After finalizing the wireframes and visual design components, I created interactive Landing page prototypes to demonstrate key user flows and bring the design to life. I simulate real user interactions using tools like Adobe XD and After Effects. These prototypes were essential for usability testing, stakeholder reviews, and validating design decisions early on.

Jio World Center
New Website

Jio World Centre is a cultural and convention landmark in Mumbai. The project goal was to design an engaging digital experience that brings the scale and diversity of the venue to life while making it easy for users to explore events, venues, and services.

About The Project

The Brief

Design a modern, responsive website that brings entertainment to life.
The platform will allow users to seamlessly book tickets for national and international shows, explore upcoming events through an intuitive calendar view, and stay informed with curated blogs and news articles from the entertainment world.

In addition to serving audiences, the platform will also include a dedicated vendor portal, enabling organizers to book venues for their own events such as pop-up markets, exhibitions, or festivals (e.g., The Lil Flea at Jio Garden). The goal is to create an all-in-one ecosystem that connects event-goers, artists, and organizers through a visually rich, user-first digital experience.

The Wireframes

We organized a one-week SPRINT exercise with the client. Following an initial discussion, we successfully developed wireframes based on the agreed objectives.

Following the completion of the updated wireframes, we moved on to the visual design phase. We incorporated the brand's color palette, typography, and design patterns to create an interface that reflects elegance and sophistication while maintaining brand consistency.

User Interface

Following a detailed discussion with the client, we identified and finalized the following key visual requirements:

  • Users should not struggle to find event information quickly.

  • The client needed a luxury visual language with smooth interactions across devices.

  • The website had to balance elegance and performance for a large audience.

  • An artistic yet elegant typeface to convey brand personality

  • Strategic use of icons to enhance visual communication

  • A soft pastel color palette for a calm and refined aesthetic

  • Incorporation of lotus flower patterns to reflect cultural relevance and symbolism

  • A dynamic, floating design style to create visual interest without overwhelming the user

  • Minimal animations to maintain subtlety and avoid distractions

  • Sleek, efficient button styles for improved usability and modern appeal

The Challenge

  • Duration: 3 months

  • My Role: 80% Ui designer, 20% Ux designer

  • Tools Used: Adobe XD, After Effects.

Research & Insights

Goal: Understand who will use the website, what they want, and what blocks them.

Objective

Before starting visual design, I wanted to understand how different visitors interact with a cultural and convention hub website and what drives engagement in luxury digital experiences.

Methods Used

  • Competitive Analysis – Studied 5 benchmark websites: Lincoln Center (NYC), Barbican (London), NCPA (Mumbai), Marina Bay Sands (Singapore), and Louvre Abu Dhabi to identify navigation, tone, and visual storytelling patterns.

  • Stakeholder Interviews – Talked to the marketing and event management teams to understand internal goals and pain points.

  • User Observation / Feedback – Gathered informal feedback from frequent cultural event attendees and exhibition planners in Mumbai to validate assumptions.
